APNA ADVANTAGE TERMS

These Apna Advantage: User Terms and Conditions (“Apna Advantage User Terms”) govern access or use by you (“user”, “you”, “your”) of Apna Advantage (defined below) provided by Apnatime Tech Private Limited (“Apna”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company established under the laws of India, having its corporate office at 1st Floor, Tower A, 150, Bizzhub Esquire, Old Airport Road, Diamond District, Kodihalli, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, 560008. Please read these Apna Advantage User Terms carefully before accessing or using Apna Advantage or our Platform or our Services.

These Apna Advantage User Terms also include our 1) privacy policy, available at (“ link “) (“Privacy Policy”), 2) the terms and conditions governing the use of our Platform by users, available at Apna Advantage T&C (“Platform Terms”), and the Additional Terms and Conditions, all of which shall, mutatis mutandis, govern your use of Apna Advantage. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning ascribed to them in the Platform Terms.

Your access and use of Apna Advantage and the Services constitute your agreement to be bound by these Apna Advantage User Terms, which establishes a contractual relationship between you and Apna. If you do not agree to these Apna Advantage User Terms, you may not access or use Apna Advantage and/or the Services.

For the purpose of further clarity, this document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000, (“IT Act”), amendments thereof from time to time and the rules thereunder as applicable, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the IT Act. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

1. DEFINITIONS

  1. Apna Advantage:

    means the career development driven technology platform offered by us, designed to facilitate connections between you and our Partners that offer Online Degree Program. For clarity, Apna Advantage includes benefits supporting your professional growth, including, without limitation, career counselling, access to online educational resources, and such additional benefits as Apna, in its sole discretion, may deem appropriate from time to time.

  2. Online Degree Program:

    means any online educational course or online degree offered by the Partners.

  3. Partners:

    shall mean duly accredited universities and colleges that offer Online Degree Programs.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  1. Apna Advantage shall be available only to individuals registered as users on the Platform and to those who have purchased an Online Degree Program through our Platform. Apna may, at its sole discretion, extend Apna Advantage to you once you satisfy the eligibility criteria, as may be solely determined by Apna from time to time.

  2. By accepting these Apna Advantage User Terms, you represent and warrant that (a) you have full legal capacity, right and authority to agree to and be bound by these Apna Advantage User Terms, (b) you are at least 18 (Eighteen) years of age or older, (c) you are an Indian resident, (d) you have not been previously suspended or removed by Apna or any of its Affiliates from availing the Apna Advantage or have been disqualified from availing any Services offered by Apna, (e) you are not barred or otherwise legally prohibited from accessing or using the Apna Advantage and (f) you are not and will not impersonate any person, entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent such person’s or entity’s identity. A person who is not competent to contract (a minor, a person of unsound mind, etc.) may not access and use Apna Advantage without the consent of his or her guardian. The guardian is presumed to have read these Apna Advantage User Terms to give consent on behalf of a minor and shall be bound by these Apna Advantage User Terms. If at any time, Apna is of the opinion that you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria, including but not limited to any misrepresentation, misuse of any Apna Advantage or offers, fraudulent or suspicious activities or transactions, Apna retains all rights to disable your access to, and/or suspend your use of the Apna Advantage with immediate effect.

  3. If you represent an entity, organisation, or any other legal person, not being a natural person, you confirm and represent that you are duly authorized by the organization, the entity, the legal person, or management of such organisation, entity, or a legal person to accept these Apna Advantage User Terms have the necessary power and authority to bind such entity, organisation, or legal person to these Apna Advantage User Terms.

3. APNA ADVANTAGE

  1. You may elect to enroll in an Online Degree Program offered by our Partners through Apna Advantage. Partners (and not Apna) are the providers of the Online Degree Programs. Partners shall make all decisions regarding admissions, academic/curriculum content, student instruction, degree conferrals, financial aid, and refunds. When you enroll in an Online Degree Program, you may be subject to the relevant Partners’ policies and practices (whether set forth in a student handbook or otherwise), and you may be required to abide by such policies and practices, and you may be subject to disciplinary action for your failure to do so. These Apna Advantage User Terms do not limit any terms, conditions, policies, and/or practices established by the Partner offering any Online Degree Program.

  2. Depending on the Online Degree Program, admission, registration, tuition and other fee payments for such Online Degree Program may be collected by Apna or by the relevant Partner. You are encouraged to conduct your own research and determine whether the cost of any Online Degree Program is right for you based on your career, personal, financial, and other goals. Partners typically control the costs (e.g., tuition and fees) associated with their Online Degree Programs and those costs may be subject to change for future academic terms or other relevant time periods.

  3. Professional licensure and certification requirements may vary by state and country, and job requirements vary by employer. Apna does not guarantee licensure, certification, or qualification for any profession or job based on your completion of an Online Degree Program through Apna Advantage. You are advised to research, understand, and comply with the requirements in the applicable state and/or country in which you work or intend to work, and to investigate whether the Online Degree Platform in which you intend to enroll meets your academic and/or professional needs before enrolling. You should also consult any materials made available by the Partner about its Online Degree Program with respect to licensure or certification for a particular field or occupation.

  4. Apna Advantage may include services, content, documents, and information owned by, licensed to, or otherwise made available by a third party, Partners and/or our Affiliates (“Third Party Services”), and may also include links to the Third Party Services. You understand and acknowledge that Third Party Services are the responsibility of the respective third-party or Affiliate that renders such Third Party Services. You further acknowledge that your use of such Third Party Services is solely at your own risk.

  5. We make no representations and disclaim all warranties and liabilities arising out of or pertaining to such Third Party Services including their accuracy or completeness. Should you avail any Third Party Service, you shall be governed and bound by the terms and conditions of the applicable third party or the Affiliate providing the Third Party Service.

  6. We shall send all communications to our users by text messages, electronic mails, WhatsApp messages, AI (artificial intelligence) driven calls, push notifications and/or via other progressive technology in connection with your access to and utilisation of the Apna Advantage and as part of our promotional and marketing strategy. You agree to receive all messages, emails, AI driven calls, and/or WhatsApp messages including transactional messages from us, any third parties and our Affiliates. We may use third-party service providers to send alerts or to communicate with you. You authorise us, our Affiliates and other entities providing Third Party Services to override the DND settings to reach out to you over calls, SMS, emails and any other mode of communication. In the event you are aggrieved due to our communications with you, please contact us in the manner we have set out under the Privacy Policy.

  7. You further acknowledge that you are responsible for the contact details shared with us and shall update us on any change to your contact details.

  8. Your enrolment into an Online Degree Program may make you eligible for “rewards” under certain circumstances at the sole discretion of Apna Advantage. The terms in relation to such rewards are set out under Annexure A to this Apna Advantage User Terms.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Apna Advantage, including text, graphics, software, photographs and other images, videos, sounds, trademarks, and service marks are owned by or otherwise licensed to us. 
  2. Apna may request you to submit suggestions and other feedback, including bug reports, relating to the Apna Advantage or the Platform, from time to time (“Feedback”). Apna may freely use, copy, disclose, publish, display, distribute, and exploit the Feedback without any payment of royalty, acknowledgement, prior consent, or any other form of restriction arising out of your intellectual property rights. You hereby waive any rights you may have that arise out of such Feedback and agree to execute such documentation as Apna may request to give effect to Apna’s rights under this Clause.
  3. Subject to your ongoing compliance with 1) the Apna Advantage Candiate Terms; 2) Platform Terms; 3) Privacy Policy and 4) and Additional Terms and Conditions, Apna grants to you a limited, personal and non-commercial use, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Apna Advantage. The rights granted herein are only for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you obtain our written permission otherwise. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, unless expressly permitted by Apna, and you will not share access to your account or access information for your account with any third party. Using Apna Advantage does not give you ownership of or any intellectual property rights in Apna or the content you access.
  4. Except as stated in these Apna Advantage Terms, nothing in these Apna Advantage Terms should be construed as conferring any right in or license to our or any third party’s intellectual property rights.

5. DISCLAIMER

  1. The use of Apna Advantage is at your sole risk. You hereby accept full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from your use of the Apna Advantage, and expressly agree and acknowledge that Apna shall have absolutely no liability with respect to the same.

  2. To the fullest extent permitted under Applicable Law, Apna Advantage and other products, information, materials, and services provided by Apna are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted under Applicable Law, Apna disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, arising out of the Apna Advantage, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and all warranties arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice in respect to the same. Without limiting the foregoing, Apna makes no warranty of any kind that the Apna Advantage, will meet your or any other persons' requirements, operate without interruption, achieve any intended result, be compatible or work with any software, systems, or other services, be secure, accurate, complete, free of harmful code or error-free.

  3. You shall be solely responsible for the activities that may take place through your Account or login credentials to Apna Advantage, and you agree to use, access, and enter Apna Advantage at your sole risk.

  4. You hereby accept full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from your use of Apna Advantage and expressly agree and acknowledge that Apna shall have absolutely no liability with respect to the same.

  5. Except to the extent available to you as a result of your enrolment into an Online Degree Program, nothing in these Apna Advantage User Terms, or otherwise with respect to your participation in any Online Degree Program from a Partner through Apna Advantage results in you being: (a) an applicant for admission to, or enrolled in, any degree or other credit- or credential-bearing program of such Partner; and (b) entitled to use any of the resources of such Partner beyond the relevant Online Degree Program, or eligible to receive student privileges or benefits provided to students enrolled in degree or other credit- or credential-bearing programs of the Partner.

  6. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Apna, its Affiliates, and its related parties each disclaims all liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or due to:

    1. your use or inability to use, or availability or unavailability of the Apna Advantage, including any Third Party Services;

    2. the occurrence or existence of any defect, interruption, or delays in the operation or transmission of information to, from, or through Apna Advantage, communications failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorised access to Apna’s records, programmes, services, servers, or other infrastructure relating to Apna Advantage;

    3. the failure of Apna Advantage to remain operational for any period of time; or

    4. the collection or processing of your personal information by Apna.

  7. You also agree and acknowledge that there can be disruptions in communication due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to your device being switched off, incorrect email address, and network interruptions. You agree not to hold us liable for non-delivery of any alert or any loss suffered by you due to any delay, distortion or failure of communication.

  8. You further agree and acknowledge that offers provided by us may vary from user to user.

  9. Except as described in the relevant Online Degree Program, nothing in these Apna Advantage User Terms: (a) establishes any relationship between you and any Partner; (b) enrols or registers you in any Online Degree Program; or (c) entitles you to use the resources of any Partner.

6. REFUND AND CANCELLATION

  1. You agree that Apna has no role in determining the enrolment, cancellation, or withdrawal policies of the Partner’s Online Degree Programs. Apna shall not be responsible or liable for any cancellation or rejection undertaken by the Partner.
  2. Refunds of any payments made by you shall be governed by the Partner’s refund policies. Apna shall not be responsible or liable for any refunds processed or denied by the Partner.

7. INDEMNITY

  1. You shall indemnify, defend at and hold Apna, its Affiliates, and their officers, associates, successors, assigns, licensors, employees, directors, agents, and representatives, harmless from and against any direct or indirect losses, actions, damages, penalties, cost and expenses, claim, demand, lawsuits, a judicial proceeding, (including, without limitation, from all damages, liabilities, settlements, costs, and attorney's fees) arising from or relating to:
    1. acts, commissions or omissions, errors, misrepresentations, misconduct, negligence, fraud, forgery, dishonesty, violation attributable to you and/or your personnel/agents/representatives, or any third party who may use your Account, your access to the Platform and the Apna Advantage and your use of the Platform and the Apna Advantage in violation of these Terms.
    2. contravention of any Applicable Law.
    3. any claim from any Authority or any third party as a result of any action or inaction on your part, including but not limited to a breach of these Apna Advantage Terms or any acts committed beyond the scope of these Terms.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, neither Apna nor any of its Affiliates or related parties shall have any liability to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or any loss of revenue or profits arising under, directly or indirectly, or relating, in any manner whatsoever, to these Terms, including any action taken by any Authority. 
  2. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, Apna’s maximum aggregate liability to you under the Apna Advantage Terms or otherwise for any loss in connection with Apna Advantage shall be limited to INR 1000.

9. TERM AND TERMINATION

  1. These Apna Advantage Terms shall remain in effect unless terminated in accordance with the terms hereunder (“Term”).
  2. Upon termination under this Clause:
  3. Apna may terminate your access to or use of the Apna Advantage or any portion thereof, immediately and at any point, at its sole discretion if you violate or breach any of its obligations, responsibilities, or covenants under these Terms. 
    1. Apna Advantage will “time-out”;
    2. you shall not be eligible to avail any features of the Apna Advantage; and
    3. these Apna Advantage Terms shall terminate, except for those clauses that expressly or are intended to survive termination or expiry.
  4. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Terms, upon termination of your access to or use of the Platform and/or the Apna Advantage, you must immediately stop using the Platform.

ANNEXURE A: Reward Terms for Users

1. Applicability

  1. This Annexure A applies to Users who have successfully enrolled in an Online Degree Program offered by a Partner and have completed all admission-related formalities in accordance with the Partner's admission policy. These Reward Terms govern the eligibility, accrual, and disbursement of rewards (“Rewards”) by Apna.

2. Scope

  1. Apna, at its sole discretion, may offer Users various rewards upon enrolling in an Online Degree Program. These rewards are based on milestone-based criteria communicated by Apna periodically.

  2. Eligibility for a reward requires successful completion of the sign-up process on the Apna App, completion of all “know-your-customer” (“KYC”) verifications, and passing the eligibility criteria defined by Apna. This is subject to verification and other applicable terms and conditions.

  3. Rewards are exclusively available to individuals registered as Users on “Apna Advantage”.

  4. Users are permitted to use rewards only in a manner allowed by the Applicable Law, the “Apna Advantage User Terms”, and this “Annexure A”.

  5. Rewards will not be available to a user if they are not eligible to accrue such rewards according to any Applicable Laws or policies of Apna.

3. Eligibility

  1. Territorial & Age Criteria: Participation as User is open solely to natural person who (a) are resident in India; (b) have attained eighteen (18) years of age on the date of enrollment into Online Degree Program.

  2. Exclusions: Participation is not open to 1) employees, directors or officers of Apna, its holding, subsidiary or affiliate companies, or their immediate family members; 2) bots, scripts, automated or bulk-registration accounts; 3) users who are suspended, banned or otherwise restricted under any of Apna’s policies or terms and conditions; and/or (4) any person or entity residing in a jurisdiction where such promotional offers are prohibited by law.

  3. Eligibility to Unlock Rewards: Eligibility to unlock the rewards is limited to (a) users affiliated with the eligible colleges or educational institutions as communicated by Apna from time to time and the respective admission has been pass/facilitated through Apna as per the college dashboard and shall be solely attributable to Apna, and (b) users who satisfy the minimum purchase-value threshold (or other qualifying spend) that Apna may specify for the relevant promotional campaign via email/any other communication medium.

  4. Proof of Eligibility: You will be required to provide proof of your eligibility to unlock the rewards as communicated by Apna from time to time.

4. Accrual of Rewards

  1. Apna will, at its sole discretion, determine and communicate (1) the different kinds of rewards; (2) nature of rewards; and (3) the maximum reward at every instance; that a User may be entitled to earn.

  2. Apna will, at its sole discretion, determine and communicate (1) the milestones which a User may be required to satisfy before becoming eligible for a reward and (2) the terms and conditions applicable on such rewards.

  3. On and after October 15, 2025, Apna is awarding two (2) types of post-admission rewards to its Users who have successfully enrolled into Online Degree Program.

    1. Cashback of amount equivalent to 1 (one) month of total course fee, subject to a maximum of INR 10,000 (Indian rupees ten thousand):

      1. Users who make the payment of the entire course fee at the time of admission into the Bachelors or the Masters course of their choice will be eligible for this cashback reward.

      2. Payment of the entire course fee may either be paid out of the Users funds or by way of loan obtained by the User from a financial institution of his choice.

    2. Cashback of INR 10,000 (Indian rupees ten thousand) upon completion of all of the following career progression tasks within the duration of the Bachelors or the Masters course of their choice:

      1. The User must build and upload his resume with the help of Apna’s AI resume builder.

      2. The User must take 5 (five) AI job mock interviews using Apna’s AI Job Prep tool.

      3. The User must refer 1 (one) friend who successfully enrols into an Online Degree Program through Apna Advantage.

    3. The cashback rewards will be process in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions communicated by Apna. The User may contact admissions@apnaadvantage.com for any queries relating to these rewards.

  4. No rewards will accrue pro-rata or on a monthly basis;

  5. Apna may withhold or cancel any tranche of a reward that is not duly earned, or where the User fails to meet the stipulated milestone criteria within the relevant period;

  6. Any reward instalment offered under this Annexure A must be claimed or utilised within the validity period communicated at the time of disbursement. Rewards not claimed within such period shall automatically expire and will not be reissued or carried forward;

  7. Apna hereby clarifies that it does not provide any reward in relation to:

    1. Tasks not part of the defined milestone structure or not approved upon verification;

    2. Students whose admission or academic session start date is unverified;

    3. Withdrawn, or non-participating Channel Partner accounts;

    4. Claims made beyond the notified expiry or disbursement timeline;

    5. Any fraudulent, erroneous, or unauthorised activity;

    6. Any other instance which Apna may identify at its sole discretion with reasonable grounds.

5. Expiry, Suspension and Termination of Rewards

  1. Each reward instalment, once unlocked, must be claimed or redeemed within the validity period communicated to you at the time of disbursement. Reward not claimed within such period shall automatically expire and be forfeited without further notice or liability.

  2. To remain eligible for reward disbursement, you must maintain an active account on Apna Advantage.

  3. You acknowledge that any reward that lapses in accordance with these Reward Terms shall not be reinstated or compensated for in any manner.

  4. You understand that we may choose to withdraw, amend, replace, extend, suspend, limit, or cancel any reward or any linked promotion at any time at our sole discretion, without any notice and liability to you.

  5. Apna reserves the right to modify, suspend, withdraw, or terminate the reward program or any part thereof at any time, including the timelines, eligibility criteria, or disbursement rules, or reward amount without prior notice and without incurring any liability.

  6. Apna reserves the absolute and unfettered right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to disqualify any User from participation in the reward program and/or to withhold, cancel, claw back or forfeit any rewards (whether pending or already credited) where Apna determines that: 1) the user has breached this Annexure A, Apna Advantage User Terms or any applicable law; 2) the User has acted in a manner that is abusive, disruptive, dishonest, unethical or otherwise prejudicial to the interests or reputation of Apna, its affiliates, partners or other users; or 3) such disqualification is necessary or advisable for compliance with legal, regulatory or internal-policy requirements.

  7. Apna's decision in this regard shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to challenge or review.

6. Disbursement of Rewards

  1. Rewards may be disbursed either to your verified bank account, subject to your compliance with any KYC or verification procedures that may be required. Rewards will be paid only to an account that is registered to, and controllable by you; assignment, transfer, or redirection of any reward to a third-party account is strictly prohibited.

  2. Once disbursed, the reward is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be reversed or exchanged for any other benefit or product unless expressly specified by Apna.

  3. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, you understand and acknowledge that the rewards cannot be used for any purpose that is prohibited by Applicable Laws.

  4. You acknowledge that once a reward instalment has been credited to your designated bank account, such disbursement is final and cannot be cancelled, varied, or reversed by Apna.

  5. Apna shall not be liable for any delay or failure in disbursing rewards arising from incorrect account details, incomplete documentation, technical issues, or non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria by a User.

7. Disclaimer

  1. You acknowledge and understand that Apna and its affiliates will not bear any responsibility or liability for any potential loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, that a user or any third party may incur in relation to any rewards.

  2. You acknowledge and understand that rewards are offered solely as an incentive based on completion of specific milestones and cannot be purchased, assigned, bartered, or transferred in any manner.

  3. Rewards are non-negotiable and personal to the eligible User.

  4. You acknowledge and understand that a reward cannot be claimed as a matter of right and that Apna reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to not issue any rewards to you.

  5. Apna reserves the right to suspend or terminate duplicate or fraudulent User accounts and forfeit any rewards or pending disbursements associated with such accounts.

  6. You acknowledge and agree that Apna does not, at any point, invest any amount, including rewards, on your behalf in any mutual fund scheme, insurance product, securities, or any other regulated financial product or service. Any references made to investment or fund-related options, if provided for illustrative or educational purposes, shall not be construed as financial advice or a recommendation.

  7. You acknowledge and understand that you shall remain liable for all costs, taxes, surcharges, fees, carrier charges, claims or liabilities of any nature that may be applicable as a result of the accrual of any rewards. Apna shall not be responsible or liable for any tax obligations of the User other than the statutory tax deducted.

  8. Users acknowledge and agree that, where required under applicable laws, Apna may deduct or withhold applicable taxes, including Tax Deducted at Source ("TDS"), from the rewards prior to disbursement. All rewards shall be disbursed on a net basis after deduction of applicable taxes.

  9. Each User agrees to comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations in connection with receipt of any reward or benefit provided by Apna, including but not limited to accurate reporting, disclosure, and payment of any taxes arising from the rewards received and Apna shall not be responsible for any claims, liabilities, penalties, interest, or proceedings that may arise due to non-compliance by the User with applicable tax laws.
